Photography is not something that has intrigued me ever since I was a little boy, but when I couldn't convince my parents to invest in a decent digital camera back in 2005 I simply decided to buy one myself. Ever since I've been experimenting with photography as a hobby and later as a secondary occupation.
During my student years you could find me at various student parties and numerous clubs in Belgium (L'étage, Kitsch Club, TABU, EXO,...) trying to capture the atmosphere in still photography.
Once I actually started working, this type of photography wasn't really compatible anymore with "normal" working hours. I shifted from late time parties to afterworks, private parties, weddings, portraits and so on...
I describe my style as observational and not intrusive, I like to wait for the right moment and snap that one shot.
For me it's still the most wonderful feeling when you're able to catch that one moment, that split second when people are at their best.
